Nestled in Polchow,w Pension Lemke offers family rooms with private bathrooms, sofa beds, balconies, refrigerators, flat‑screen TVs and complimentary Wi‑Fi. The on‑site restaurant serves seafood, German and regional dishes on a terrace with barbecue facilities. Bicycle parking, nearby hiking trails, Spyker Castle (2.8 km) and Jasmund National Park (12 km) enhance outdoor leisure.

The price and location on the island were good, and we received a welcome bonus in the form of wine. The host was friendly. It was one of the few places where I could find accommodation for just one night, even though many places on the island require a minimum stay of 3 to 7 nights. The fish‑restaurant smell from the first floor was annoying, and I would have liked a microwave in the room—though the restaurant was closed at night.

The ground‑floor apartment was lovely, with private parking available. In October it offered excellent value for money, absolute quiet, and impeccable cleanliness. The pillows and the sheet underneath were not great, and the lighting in the living room was a bit weak.

From the inn, the places we were interested in on Rügen were easily reachable by bike. Otherwise we handled our own meals and breakfast. The attached restaurant is not worth recommending.

Clean, fresh bedding, the single bed was fine for one night. I had to set up one bed myself, and the TV only showed one channel.

The toilet tank in the bathroom was broken, and when I opened the skylight, dirt, crushed flies, mosquitoes, and cobwebs appeared on the walls, causing a noticeable odor in the hallway.
