The hotel was easy to reach from historic Williamsburg and the highway, so I could drop my partner off at the Coast Guard Academy without hassle, but the gym advertised on the website was closed and unusable, and there was no notice about it; partnering with a local gym for a coupon or similar could help guests who need fitness facilities.

The pool was fantastic and it was just a short walk from Busch Gardens, but the lower floor had a strong mold smell and the room was full of little issues that could have been fixed with a bit of maintenance, and the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The location was good, yet there were dead bugs on the floor and pretzels under the air conditioner, and the shower left water puddling on the floor.

The breakfast was awful, the room was dirty and outdated, they even changed my room size—asking for a king got me a tiny room—and they overcharged and never returned the deposit; I will never stay there again.
