“All 5-star except for AC”

Karl was an attentive host, the made‑to‑order breakfast was excellent, and the old house had tons of character. The AC system couldn’t keep the second floor cool.

“Tuckaway Strawberry Bed and Breakfast Retreat!”

I had no idea when I booked that I’d be working with Mary at this beautiful bed and breakfast; it was meant to be. I didn’t want to leave, enjoyed Carl’s visit and the stories we shared, and will miss them. We’ll stay here again. The home, the hospitality, the most comfortable bed, and the breakfast were all out of this world. While eating breakfast, two wild turkeys were grazing near the window.

“Delightful hosts in a fascinating historic house.”

Karl & Mary are excellent hosts, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the 1856 house is fascinating with many antiques and interesting decor items. The grounds are beautiful and tranquil; be sure to ask about the house’s history. The bed is quite high for a short person, and the shower in the antique tub can feel claustrophobic if that’s a concern.

“Delightful night in Iowa”

A lovely find on a leisurely trip from Florida to Minnesota. Our hosts were incredible; we felt right at home, and so did our dog. The history of the home and farm was a highlight. Everything was perfect!
