“A relaxing break in a very tasteful and peaceful hotel.”

I was impressed by the beautiful furnishings and the great location. I would have liked smaller tables for breakfast, but everything else was excellent. On arrival—though I had emailed about an hour before check‑in—I couldn’t get inside because no one answered the phone or doorbell, and I had to wait on the pavement for over an hour. The staff apologized sincerely.

“Ideal spot for touring, cafe's, bars, thank you La Maison Vieille Maison”

The cottage room was spacious, comfortable, and situated in a fantastic spot for exploring both the old and newer parts of town. We opted out of breakfast, but we saw how good it was. We’d definitely book again if we ever return to Carcassonne. The staff were very helpful too. Thank you. What not to like? It was great.

Prachtige kamer, en beneden een fijne salon om in te gaan zitten lezen. Gezellige keuken met één lange tafel, om samen met de andere gasten van het ontbijt te genieten en ervaringen uit te wisselen. Wij hadden de enige kamer waarin een bad stond opgesteld. Ik kan me voorstellen dat dat niet voor iedereen fijn is, met name omdat er daarom geen douche was. Even snel opfrissen door te douchen kan fijner zijn dan elke keer pontificaal in bad gaan zitten, in het volle zicht van je kamergenoot. De eigenaresse hebben wij helaas niet gezien
