Hotel Lake View - Near Sukhna Lake

The staff were exceptionally well behaved and helpful, yet the property is old and sits next to a wine and beer shop. I had to change rooms twice, once in the middle of the night, and the staff assisted even after duty hours. The location of the property is a drawback, and the hotel renovation is overdue.

I’m honestly very disappointed with my experience at Hotel Lake View. Considering the amount I am paying for the room, I expected much better service and cleanliness. Unfortunately, the room is not properly cleaned, there is seepage on the walls, and there is a bad smell throughout the room. Even the blanket provided for sleeping is dirty and has visible stains on it. The bathroom is also not properly cleaned and is in a very unhygienic condition. This is not the experience I expected when I booked this hotel. I understand that there may be a staff shortage, but that should not affect the basic standards of cleanliness, service, and guest experience. I also had food delivered through Zomato. When I went to the reception, the receptionist told me to collect my food myself because they did not have enough staff. As a guest, I do not think this is an acceptable way to handle service. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the management and service. I request you to please look into these issues seriously and take immediate action

The rooms were grubby and the bathroom seemed untouched since the last guests left; the only difference between the standard room and the “deluxe” was that the deluxe had a window overlooking a construction site. I preferred sleeping in my clothes rather than trusting the bedding, booked two nights but only stayed one, and there is no lake view.

“Think before you pay”

Nothing was good, nothing was bad, and the worst part was the staff.

“Some how managed to spend the night on a below average place”

I paid for breakfast but didn’t receive it until 8 am, so I had to leave on 28 June without having breakfast, and the hygiene was poor.
