Francesca was warm and friendly. Check‑in was simple, and she took time to sit with me, show me the accommodation, and answer my questions. She was very helpful throughout the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the garden access was very pleasant! I recommend it :)

I’ve stayed in many cities and hotels in Italy, but Il Dondolo Blu was my favorite! Starting with Francesca’s friendliness and welcome, who received me very well and gave great tips about Florence. The room is spacious, has a small table, air conditioning, a storage unit for clothes and accessories, plus a mini‑fridge and TV. The bed is very comfortable and everything was clean. In the kitchen you can use the microwave and make coffee with the machine. In the yard there are tables to sit and chat, eat, or just relax and watch the beautiful blue swing birds. Although it’s not in the city center, it’s easy to get around from the lodging, with several bus lines passing nearby streets and going to main spots like Santa Maria Novella station, for example. A few meters from the lodging are supermarkets, cafés, and a self‑service laundry. I only have praise for this wonderful place, perfect for resting after days of touring Florence. A room with a fantastic bed and no hotel odor, located in a residential area of Florence that has all the services you need and is only a short walk from the city center. Francesca welcomed us warmly and was very gracious. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Nothing else to add.
