The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a tidy room and bed, a clean bathroom, a well‑equipped kitchen that had a rice pot, fridge, and water dispenser. There was a TV, a dining table, a comfy sofa, and a balcony. Parking was convenient, and the street had cafés and restaurants.

The cleanest and best-equipped place I found on my whole trip across the Philippines, though the shower pressure was weak—just like the locals do, filling a bucket and pouring water over themselves with a ladle. Across the street is a small café, restaurants, shops, and street stalls just around the corner. Google Maps had the location wrong; the property sits on the same level, 50 m down a parallel side street. On the ground floor there’s a nail salon.
