The morning spread was decent—croissants, bagels, fruit and cheese, and they even asked what time we wanted to eat. It was nicely put together, but I usually have eggs for breakfast, so that would have been a welcome addition. Overall it satisfied me.

The hotel sits in a quiet, upscale neighbourhood and the metro is only about five minutes away on foot. Breakfast went well beyond a simple continental offering—juice, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, jam, assorted breads and pastries, plus coffee or tea. The host, Mme D, was genuinely gracious and always ready to help.

Claude gave us a warm welcome and the room felt nicely private, with the added perk of direct garden access. It made the stay feel a bit more relaxed.
