The spot works out well, it’s tidy and the pillows were good, but I chose this place because it advertised parking, only to be told there was none when I arrived, so I had to pay extra elsewhere and walk to the hotel, which was a hassle; the building had a strange old‑home smell, and at 4.30am the fire alarm woke me up, then it went off again, so I wasn’t sure what was happening, but it was not ideal.

The location was fine, but the room stank, the bed was rock‑hard, I came back late after a few drinks and the guy at the desk tried to claim I needed to pay a deposit for the key—something that was never mentioned at check‑in; when I said I had no cash he demanded a bank transfer, which I refused, then he escorted me to my room, let me in, and took the key, clearly trying to scam me because he thought I was drunk, so steer clear of this place.
