“Onhandige ligging en weinig inzet”

The location and room were nice, and the tea plantation was fun for a day. However, you were basically stuck on a theme park because the tea plantation had day guests and the tea factory had workers. For this price the hotel service was poor; staff spoke almost no English, the hotel restaurant was closed, and the Bromo tour couldn’t be arranged unless you booked a week in advance. You also had to pay a lot to drive 15 km to Malang because no Grabs were available. We decided to cut our visit short and move to a more central spot, which was a shame given the beautiful setting.

“A good get-away from the city. So don't expect much happenings”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, surrounded by a serene atmosphere, especially at the lovely dining hall perched above a picturesque tea plantation. The garden was meticulously maintained, and the simple setup far from the city's hustle and bustle allowed for a peaceful retreat. The natural breeze kept the room cool, eliminating the need for air conditioning.

I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's location, which offered breathtaking views and easy access to a hiking trail that led to Bukit Kaneer and beyond. The pool and live music added to the hotel's charm, and my room was spacious and comfortable. However, my stay was not without its drawbacks: the cushions on the furniture were extremely uncomfortable, and the height of the headrest made it difficult to relax. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant did not serve beer.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its stunning view and the generosity of the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was marred by a few issues. While the location was indeed beautiful and picturesque, the water heater in my room failed to work in the mornings, which was a bit of an inconvenience. I did appreciate the friendly and welcoming staff, though.
