“A very affordable place with amazing staff”
It sits in a beautiful, tree‑lined upscale neighborhood that’s quiet and within walking distance of the beach. Beware, you’re high above the Black Sea and it takes 262 steps down (and back up). A convenience store and the superb restaurant Reef are less than a block away. The veal rack was incredible. The staff felt like family, took great care of me, called Ubers when needed, did my laundry, and didn’t charge me for it. The bar and restaurant were good, and they’d customize your meal or drinks however you liked it! The staff make this place amazing at a very low price. Amid a terrible war, it was a safe, quiet spot. Restaurants, bars, stores, and a pharmacy are about a mile away, plus a lovely walk. The only downside is that it’s an older upscale hotel; some visitors might prefer newer steel‑and‑glass hotels in the city, but that isn’t advisable right now.
