“This place did not exsist !!!”
I booked this place and, on the day of arrival, received an email explaining how to access the building using a door code and how to find my apartment. The problem was that the property did not exist at the address provided. I only discovered this when I was standing outside the building and unable to get in. I immediately contacted the owner, but there was no solution. An elderly woman was in the same situation, which made the whole experience even more concerning. Being left in the centre of London without a place to stay is an extremely stressful situation. After four calls and around two hours on the phone with the owner, they eventually found alternative accommodation 3.5 km away. And for the record, it is not easy to be standing on the street in central London trying to find a number to call when you urgently need help. In the end, I decided to book my own accommodation rather than continue waiting for a solution. This was an unacceptable experience, and I would expect a full explanation of how a property that apparently does not exist could be listed and booked.
