The host was genuinely welcoming and extremely flexible, offering a beautiful view of the meadow in the morning and evening and a short walk to the Wadden Islands. However, if you want to shower in the evening it gets quite dark to reach the shower, and the place attracts mosquitoes and gnats, so bring plenty of insect spray if you plan to sit outside.
