The accommodation is simple and convenient, just a 3‑minute walk from Izumo Station. Every evening the hotel offers free ramen at a set time, with broth made from the famous Lake Shikado clams – you must try it. There is no on‑site parking, but the hotel partners with a nearby lot that offers a small discount of 100 yen per night. The closest Lawson is right next to the parking, so I could stroll there daily before heading back.
