“Basic hostel-like hotel which does the job”

The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable; the air conditioning worked well and I liked having a kettle, a fridge and an antimosquito plug. Parking nearby was possible, though not easy. The area was noisy and closing the windows didn’t help much; both the room and the reception area felt a bit soulless. It’s not really close to the beach or the centre of Calpe as the map might suggest – you have to cross or walk on a busy thoroughfare to get anywhere on foot.

The price was disproportionate: 118€ for one night for a small room with a bathroom and nothing else. I asked if I could check out a few minutes later than 11 h and they said they charge 10€ per hour, a service that any hotel should provide for free.

Everything was very clean, comfortable and central, but the stairs are steep when you’re heavily loaded and there’s only an elevator at reception.

“Calidad precio”

I paid a fair price for a single night, the room and bathroom were tidy and the bed was comfortable. If I had stayed longer I’d have liked a spot closer to the beach, though it’s not far; just bring your umbrella and chairs and you’ll be fine – otherwise everything was great.

The location is well connected with restaurants and shops, but because there is no restaurant, I missed the breakfast service.
