The couple who run this B&B are amazing and hospitable, offering solid local tips and friendly chats over breakfast; their southern hospitality is palpable. The house itself is old and wooden, richly decorated, with books, a piano, a gold‑plated vinyl of John Lennon, dim living‑room lighting, and overall a soulful atmosphere. The only downside is that it’s a $30‑minute Uber ride from the French Quarter, though the quiet neighborhood and nearby good restaurants help offset that.

“Beyond expectations”

The Rose Manor was beautiful, charming, and exuded a wonderful ambiance through its décor and settings; we absolutely loved it. Peter and his wife were wonderful, and we shared morning conversations at breakfast, which offered great selections and stories, with Peter giving us excellent suggestions on things to do and places to see—a perfect host. We highly recommend their very special place to stay, The Rose Manor. Thank you, Ralph and Dee.
