“bueno”
The apartment feels modern.
“Great location, good rooms, unsightly surrounding area and situated in an old building.”
The hotel’s spot is great, but the building itself is old. The rooms are relatively new but could have been cleaned a touch better. The area around the hotel has a lot of homeless people, which made walking to the hotel feel unsafe, especially from the rear public car park. Checking in was straightforward, even though there’s no staff on duty 24/7; the hotel gave clear instructions on how to enter and get your key. Prices in Milan are generally high for a central location, so lowering the cost would make it more appealing to stay again. The building is an old residential block with a person manning the front on the ground floor, which looks uninviting. It feels like they just hire someone from the street for the front desk, and I’m not sure why. The surrounding area has many homeless people who camp out at night, making it feel unsafe to walk to the hotel if you’ve parked in the public car park at the back, which we did.
“Ottima posizione per un week-end milanese”
The property sits in a super central spot just steps from the Duomo, and it’s very close to the Duomo metro stop, which is great for getting around. The room was clean, fairly spacious, and had modern furnishings. What I didn’t like was the difficulty of contacting the property by phone. We arrived after 18:00 for check‑in but ended up doing a self‑check‑in that was a bit complex and frustrating, especially since we could only communicate via WhatsApp after a long, tiring trip.
“Muito boa. Recomendo.”
Even though it’s not a typical hotel with a front desk, bar, or restaurant, the place was very comfortable, clean, spacious, safe, and quiet. The bed was very comfy, there was an espresso machine and an electric kettle in the room, and the location is superb. It felt a bit odd not having a conventional reception or dining options, but that didn’t ruin our stay – it’s just a different kind of place.
Great location! A bit pricey.
