A wonderful B and B experience: the staff were very welcoming and the pre‑stay communication was excellent, letting us choose between two singles or one big bed; the place was spotless, the hosts warm and friendly, and the breakfasts offered plenty of options. Nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was lovely with a great menu, the atmosphere was quiet and leisurely, giving a relaxed start to the day. As elderly guests, we found the stairs to our second‑floor room difficult, but we should have informed the hotel at booking.

The owners are friendly, welcoming, and permissive without being intrusive, and they have clearly thought through every aspect of the B&B to ensure guest comfort; everything is clean, tasteful, and homely with great views over Morcambe Bay, and the breakfast is good. The only downsides are that, as a B&B run by the owners, they need to manage time and costs, so guests must agree on breakfast time and order the night before, and there are many stairs from the car park to the rooms, which may be hard for people with mobility issues.
