This cruise is new and clean. I love the room with a balcony. The food on the cruise is delicious and the wine is tasty. I’d like to stay 3 D 2 N next time.
“A must do!!!!”
We loved everything about our stay on the Grand Pioneers Cruise. Everyone was friendly, the attention to detail was immaculate, the rooms were beautiful, the views were amazing, the food was incredible, and our server Sky was kind and caring, attending to all our needs with a smile. We would definitely come again! Highlight of our trip!
The boat and crew were fantastic—Jerry, Luna, and Benji were especially amazing. Transport organized by the boat was expensive and had very poor communication, which made for a disappointing end to the cruise. When we mentioned this to reservation staff nothing was done.
The ship looked breathtaking, everything felt grand. Our concierge Dien was outstanding—personable, remembered our drink and breakfast orders, and delivered excellent service. He was very attentive and a genuinely nice person, so highly recommend him. The food was fantastic, with great options, and all staff spoke good English. We would definitely book again. We stayed in the Essence Suite, which was stunning and came with a balcony. The balcony is partially shared with another Essence Suite; a small divider only extends a third of the way, so you can see across and even into the other room when on the balcony, which isn’t shown in the room images. It didn’t bother us because only one other guest was there on one night and they didn’t use their balcony, but it would feel less private if other guests used theirs. Adding planter boxes to fill the gap would improve privacy and the sense of having a truly own balcony space.
