The receptionist was very helpful and accommodated an early 11 am parking request while we went to the Matakana farmers' market, and we were able to check in at 1 pm. The motel sits right in the village centre, and this was a repeat visit. The room was clean, spacious, had a sofa and a deck, and met all our needs.

The pool, the proximity to the village, the bed and bedding, the outdoor area, and the playground were all great, but there was no lock on the bathroom door.
