Located five minutes from the Horberg‑Penken ski area, Emma’s Guesthouse Zillertal offers a modern Tyrolean boutique hotel with traditional touches and a sunny terrace. Rooms feature flat‑screen satellite TV, private bathrooms and optional balconies. Amenities include ski storage, free Wi‑Fi, on‑site spa, private parking, and a complimentary ski bus to nearby Zillertal Arena and Mayrhofen slopes.

The accommodation is nice, but I have two suggestions for improvement: a coat hook in the room would be practical, and for breakfast (which costs extra) I would like more variety for the price, as it is currently very simple. Otherwise everything was good.

Breakfast was excellent, everything fresh, organic, with a wide selection. It was the best breakfast ever, we really enjoyed it. The coffee from a large espresso machine was freshly brewed and very good. And we missed the lounge music, a pleasant contrast to the usual yodeling and Schuhplattler sounds. The spacious waterfall shower in the room was also great.

A stunning, modern hotel with great vibe. The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to solve any issue quickly. The breakfast is high quality, the coffee excellent, and egg dishes are freshly made to order. The rooms are about 24 qm including bathroom and balcony, so they’re quite compact. The differences between room categories weren’t clear or noticeable on site. The biggest drawback is the location right next to a busy thoroughfare; with the window open a quiet night is almost impossible, and relaxing on the balcony or terrace after a hike is severely limited by the loud traffic. That detail was missing from earlier reviews.
