“I wouldn't hesitate to go again.”
The breakfast was simple but good. Nothing else. Tina went out of her way to make things easy for us.

The breakfast in the lovely conservatory was fab, and there were several outdoor seating options, including by the riverside and in a summer house. Off‑road parking is secure, and the chickens wander around nicely. Everything was great; I had no complaints.

The beds were very comfortable, the whole place was clean, and the breakfast was to die for! The chickens were cute, and Freya the dog was beautiful. Tina the host and her helper were exceptional and very friendly. It was a wonderful time, and I would recommend it if you’re in the area. The only minor gripe was the lack of toiletries for the shower.

We were taken care of in a very friendly and kind way, and the breakfast was great – exactly what we wanted.

We stayed in a beautiful, spacious single house that offers one private room for guests or a private annex; we chose the house room because of its gorgeous canopy bed – large, comfortable, and incredibly soft thanks to goose feather bedding. The cottage is charming and rustic, with chickens and a sweet dog named Freya who is reserved and friendly. Breakfast, prepared personally by a kind and hospitable lady, was excellent, and she even booked us a table at the great nearby pub, reachable by a pleasant walk along the river with a view of the picturesque Burrow Mump. Given its location and character, I consider this a stopover, but a wonderful one.
