“Lekker centraal voor leuke uitstapjes”
It’s rented as an apartment but functions more like a hotel room; we had the apartment with the roof terrace, the weather was lovely, and the steep stairs didn’t bother me on the first visit, so I don’t see them as a negative; the only downside was the lack of a fridge.
“Heerlijk”
Locatie en heerlijke bedden. Piep van de lege rookmelder in de gang
“Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar”
We liked the stay; check‑in went smoothly with the key lockers, the room was pretty, the beds were good, and the location was surprisingly close to Bloemendaal aan Zee. There’s no breakfast in the hotel, but we could easily grab groceries at the nearby AH, which we brought from the station. Public transport was also great, both bus and train. We enjoyed it. There wasn’t really a major flaw, but I did notice that the accommodation relies on the JustIn mobile app. I personally preferred the key lockers, and when the app failed that day it worked out fine. We managed it ourselves, but the number of electronic devices (mini‑bar, kettle, Dolce Gusto, etc.) sharing a single outlet made it a bit of a juggling act. A power strip would solve that. Also, the towel rack was a bit old and the toilet holder was loose on the wall – probably just a quick fix.
“zeer aangenaam contact en mooie kamer /locatie”
I was very grateful for the staff’s help, especially since it was already late and I was worried about a leak coming inside. They were reachable via 06 and I felt truly alone only because of that. The only downside was the parking situation – I couldn’t find a place to park.
The room was very nice and bright. Parking options were scarce: you could only park hourly right in front of the hotel and on the surrounding streets it was restricted to homeowners. There is a P+R spot about 3 minutes on foot, but it’s very narrow and larger cars may struggle to fit.
