The gentleman at the front desk was exceptional; it was almost midnight and he was very pleasant and personable. It seemed the whole town was full, so we were happy to find an inexpensive place that accepted our dog and offered a ground‑floor room. The property looks a bit run down and could use a remodel, but it was clean. I cringe whenever I see carpet on the floor.

Stains and cracks everywhere, the floor wasn’t vacuumed, the toilet struggled to flush, and the place was VERY run down.

The spot was good for visiting family in VC and the staff were friendly, yet when we entered the room we found walls sprayed with a soda‑and‑ketchup‑like residue, a sticky desk, no coffee maker, only a rolling desk chair to sit on, and the suite was missing.
