I liked the staff—friendly and attentive—but the rooms are too closed in; the windows open onto a shared terrace so you can’t leave them open without violating privacy, and the price is too high for the type of property and the room locations.

The bedroom was comfortable, but the breakfast was awful: the pork belly was burnt, the omelette was overcooked, you had to decide what to eat in the evening, there was no buffet, the oats came out dry, I don’t know if they were meant for birds or water, and the butter on the bread had to be requested along with the water.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the breakfast was awful—frozen sandwiches that looked raw, served by a polite but barely present staff member. The 24‑hour reception meant you had to find someone yourself, usually the breakfast guy who also handled check‑outs at certain times. The elevator was far from the front desk, tucked into a side entrance with trash bins and a stack of pallets from an unidentified warehouse. The fake grass outside looked like a neglected lawn, some patches raised enough to risk falling. Instead of replacing the elevator carpet, they cut a square the size of the floor and slotted it in, ignoring aesthetics; a person with mobility issues—like my companion—could have slipped. The towels were old, frayed edges, one even stained.

The location was close to the highway and the room was a large, new one in a big complex with plenty of parking, making it a good deal for the price. Breakfast wasn’t remarkable, though there were fresh croissants and cappuccino. The restaurant was closed for dinner, which was why we booked a nearby hotel.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, but the bed was low and uncomfortable, and the reception was oddly placed and inconvenient, especially for moving between the lobby and the rooms.
