Breakfast was good but nothing special; the advertised steam bath was simply non‑existent, the bathroom was oddly interesting, and even though we had booked two air‑conditioned rooms and were the only guests, there seemed to be no fan for us, which made sleeping very uncomfortable in 37 °C shade. On top of that, one of our companions developed red pimples everywhere during the stay, apparently caused by the bed.

The entire riad was spotless and well maintained, and we were greeted with mint tea and friendly chatter. I was a bit ill on the trip, so this place was perfect to recover—super quiet and peaceful. The house is well built and stays cool inside while it’s hot outside. Abdul and his wife welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home every day; it’s a genuinely homely vibe and a nice place to stay for a while. The only downside was a single cockroach that I managed to remove myself.

Nous avons été accueillis par Majid dans une belle maison situé à 2 pas de Ait Benhaddou, les chambre sont grandes, très agréables et bien décorées, les environs sont calmes. Il y a des places pour les voitures juste devant la maison. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et très bon. Nous avons également pris le repas du soir sur place, c’était délicieux et Majid nous a proposé d’assister à la préparation du tajine et du couscous avec son épouse, un moment privilégié. Nous retenons surtout l’accueil plein de gentillesse de Majid qui a tout fait pour que nous nous sentions bien. Rien
