The site is gorgeous with its pond and water lilies. I was surprised that the owners of a bed‑and‑breakfast didn’t speak a word of French.

Our hosts were amazing; our 9‑year‑old son said, “it’s not like strangers, it’s like family.” Our 13‑year‑old loved learning how to fish in the lake. The evening meals were heart‑warming, comforting and delicious, made by caring, warm hosts. It was a perfect stopover, and there’s plenty to see for a few days. Don’t miss St. Suzanne – it’s a gem! Nothing else to note.

The peace, the ambiance, the hosts, the food.

Terry and Pippa were lovely hosts and did everything they could for us. We enjoyed a home‑cooked dinner that was absolutely lovely. We loved sitting outside on the soft seats and chatting late into the night amid very pretty surroundings. The lake was beautiful. Nothing else to add.
