After returning after two years, I recognized the same staff and felt cared for in this cozy place. The views are stunning, the restaurant is nice, and I prefer it over large hotels. I always wanted to stay longer, and I could sit with a book and watch Table Mountain across the bay.

The beach proximity, staff, and sunset spot were great, but it was a bit far from everything without a car.

The place is gorgeous and spotless, and the food is tasty; you could spend the whole day here and still feel relaxed. The restaurant is superb and worth trying for any meal, and the room offers plenty of storage. The only downside was that the room felt a little cramped, though it was still cozy.

We deliberately chose this small hotel because it’s about a half‑hour from Cape Town, and Uber rides were hassle‑free at any time. All we hear are the waves and a few birds. In September we even enjoyed being the only guests during the off‑season. The tiny team at the hotel is very friendly and family‑like; when we return to South Africa, this will be our first choice again. Thanks a lot, Venessa and the team. See you soon ;-)

The staff were wonderfully friendly and did everything they could, making us feel like family. The only drawback was that the location wasn’t great.
