The spot was quiet and the host was fantastic! The breakfast was lovingly prepared, and we’ll definitely return.

The ambiance and the building were very beautiful and historic. We arrived 20 minutes before the check‑in time; check‑in was at 15 00, so we had to wait in the garden. After about 30 minutes we were finally able to take our rooms. It wasn’t too bad, but the staff reacted in a very unfriendly and cheeky way when we asked questions. Another minor issue was the wait for breakfast; the single‑person operation seemed a bit overwhelmed. For older guests with mobility problems, the steep, high spiral staircase to the beds is not recommended.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Our host, Mevlan, was exceptionally kind, gracious and helpful. The location is a great launching point for biking or exploring the wine region, though the immediate surroundings are a bit sleepy. That said, we enjoyed our stay.
