The property sits in a peaceful, quiet area with beautiful countryside views. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The lounge and breakfast area were spacious and comfortable. The toilets and showers were often crowded.

We spent one night at Eyjólfsstadir Guesthouse and would highly recommend it. The guesthouse feels like a youth hostel with a higher standard. Our double room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The shared toilets and showers were also clean and well maintained. In the evenings we received a tasty soup with toppings and bread for a fair price, considering Icelandic conditions. Breakfast was good with plenty of options for everyone’s needs. We’ll gladly return. The only downside is that it can be a bit noisy, but it stays within limits and didn’t bother us.

The breakfast was amazing and homemade, and I also had a soup when I arrived that was delicious, served with bread and Icelandic butter (the best). From the hotel parking I could see the northern lights, and the common areas were also nice. Nothing negative.
