“Great location for the Camino and if you like a good night rest”
The bed was comfortable and the spot on the Camino was great, but I had no hot water at night and it was very pricey for a single night.

I enjoyed a lovely stay in a historic complex; we had a very large suite with two bedrooms, though the smaller one had no air‑conditioning – that was fine because it wasn’t hot. Breakfast was nice in a charming setting, and I have no complaints.

The historic building, breakfast, garden, and staff were all excellent. I was confused about which heating systems were working and which weren’t; it would help guests to receive clear written instructions at check‑in.

I had a wonderful experience at Casas da Quinta da Cancela in Balugães! The room was excellent, the property was beautifully maintained, and the hospitality was outstanding. After walking several kilometres on the Camino de Santiago, it was a real pleasure to find such a peaceful and quiet place to relax and recharge. A charming accommodation, perfect for pilgrims looking for comfort, tranquillity, and a warm welcome. Highly recommended!
