Casa Anjuna is a charming hotel nestled within a landscaped garden, 7 km from Calangute Beach and 19 km from Old Goa. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, cosy seating areas, and an Anjuna Restaurant serving Indian and international cuisine. Rooms are beautifully decorated with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and some with private balconies offering pool and garden views.

The location and rooms (size, amenities) were excellent, and the staff was fantastic. I’m a regular visitor and will stay again, but this time the experience was a little dampened. The wifi was very poor, drains were clogged, rooms hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was no food because the cook was unavailable, and there wasn’t even a bottle opener because the one they had was in another guest’s room. I’ve stayed here before and the experience was generally far superior to what we got this time.

When we arrived, no one was at reception and we waited over an hour to check in. The management proved unreliable, suggesting we move to another hotel the next day because of a gas shortage and saying they couldn’t guarantee service for us. The recommended hotel was on a noisy party street, so we booked a quieter place elsewhere for the following night. The procurement manager promised a refund for the eight nights we had already paid for after informing customer service on the phone in our presence. Despite multiple calls to Casa Anjuna and complaints through Mastercard/Quart, we have still received no response or reimbursement after more than five weeks. This whole episode shows very unreliable management and cast a shadow over our Goa trip with unnecessary paperwork. No reply has come from Casa Anjuna, making the experience feel irresponsible and fraudulent.

Casa Anjuna’s house and lush garden are stunningly beautiful. We stayed three nights, and every time we returned from outside, the place offered new colors and views that were all equally gorgeous—truly wonderful. The staff attend to every detail, from the outdoor concierge to gardeners, servers, assistants, and the manager, all working for our comfort. We asked for a specific room and the team kept it for us. The cleanliness was flawless, the air‑conditioning perfect, and the bathroom fully functional. The large pool is peaceful yet close to the sea and restaurants, and even when there were more guests on Saturday night, the layout made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. Simply put, you won’t find anything better in Ajuna. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect. Thank you, Casa Anjuna.
