We were absolutely furious! When we booked and paid, none of this was mentioned. The toilet was unusable, and two hours before arrival we got an email saying we had to use a bucket to pour water into the toilet and throw the paper in the trash because it would clog. Paying 30,000/nap is outrageous for that kind of toilet usage. The room was 32 °C, the fridge didn’t work so we couldn’t chill any water, and the floor had never been swept because the dirt was stuck. Terrible and infuriating for that price!

The surroundings were beautiful, with great hiking spots, kayaking, and natural wonders. However, right next to the house there’s a fishing hut owned by the same owner, and its traffic slightly ruins the idyll. There was no info on Booking about the special toilet location.

Quiet, close to nature near a small town. I recommend it to those who love nature. Nothing negative.

“Kellemes.”

I really liked the house’s location, the stunning view, and the nature‑near setting, all while being close to the town center. A special plus was that the host answered our question quickly and gladly during our stay. The mosquito nets on the house were no longer in good condition, so we couldn’t ventilate at night. Even though it was pleasantly cool outside, we had to use the AC because opening the windows would let in a lot of large spiders and insects. Installing a shade or at least a darkening curtain would be justified. After dark, many boats pass in front of the house, giving a full view into the interior, which seriously compromises privacy.

I really liked that it was just us, no crowds nearby. The only downside was that I still have to get to know the frogs on the Bodrog River shore.
