The hotel ruined our holiday. The website gave no information about the beach season closure or lack of access to the private beach, which is crucial for a late‑September stay and should have been disclosed beforehand. The worst part was the complete lack of internet—no Wi‑Fi in the hotel and no mobile reception in the rooms. In today’s world this is unacceptable, especially when guests need to stay connected. Even more alarming was a decorative panel that fell and struck my head; the management refused to compensate or offer any remedy. Breakfast was awful—cheap cheese and sausage that tasted like paper, and the food quality and variety were far below expectations for a decent hotel. Instead of proper beach loungers, we were given plastic chairs. The distance to New Alamein was also quite far, making the location inconvenient for those planning to stay in that area. Overall, the lack of pre‑stated beach info, total loss of connectivity, dangerous falling panel, management’s refusal to take responsibility, terrible breakfast, and inconvenient location left a very negative impression. I absolutely do not recommend staying here and find this attitude toward guests unacceptable.
