The property is fairly new, rooms are of normal size, very clean and welcoming overall. The point of contact could be a bit friendlier with people.

The shower area is huge and the room and house look great, but the bathroom isn’t well insulated so you can hear the rooms next to it. The lighting system is weak, with lights flickering often, and the mattress feels quite uncomfortable. It might help to add a couple of drying racks in the hallway areas to use the empty column inside the house as a spot for hanging laundry.

The bathroom had just been renovated and the TV worked fine. However, the site advertised a king‑size room with garden view that we booked and paid for, yet we were given a smaller, somewhat outdated room instead. When we told the host, they said the booked room had already been taken by someone else and offered no compensation. We also struggled to find the place because the address on the site was wrong, matching another street in Trapani, so we arrived late for check‑in. The host was rushed, didn’t explain the amenities thoroughly, and left us to figure things out. We noticed the kitchen was shared, not private as the listing claimed; the apartment actually has one floor with four private rooms, a shared hallway, a living room, and a kitchen. The listing also mentioned a terrace, but it’s just an unadorned roof. The lights flickered, the AC was weak, and hot water came on and off. The bed was not a true double but two single mattresses tied together with two blankets. My partner’s pillow lacked a cover, there was no wardrobe for clothes, and the second pillow that usually comes was missing. The bathroom had no windows and no welcome kit, so we had to improvise.

Often the GPS directed us to the wrong address.

The price was good, but the bathroom window supposedly opened onto an inner courtyard with a roof, which actually didn’t provide much ventilation. We had to wait for the owner to let us into the building, and the name of the property wasn’t shown on the doorbell.
