Andrew was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The sea views were fantastic, the beach is close, and shops are within walking distance. The room lacked a bar fridge, the shower was hard to control the temperature, and the chairs needed vacuuming.

The location was ideal for exploring Newquay on foot, with the beach, bars and restaurants all within roughly a 10‑minute walk, and a convenient local Spar on the corner while Sainsbury’s was about five minutes away. The room felt far too cramped for four adults, all aged over 60, and we believed a more suitable alternative could have been offered. Parking was extremely limited, and we worried that moving the car might leave us without a spot again, so we left the car parked and explored the area on foot. The sea view from our window was very restricted, and the advertised shortcut to the beach was inaccessible because the path beyond the property was overgrown. No breakfast was available on site, and overall the accommodation did not fully match the description or expectations created by the website, leaving us undecided about whether the stay represented good value for money.
