Holiday Inn Kearney by IHG

The room and bed were comfortable, the hotel was very clean and well kept, and the full buffet breakfast was nice (though the gravy tasted odd). In our room, after the air conditioner cycled on arrival to cool it down, it ran for a while before shutting off and produced an annoying noise that disrupted our sleep; I told the front desk and manager when we checked out, and the manager promised to credit our account, but 24 hours later the credit was still missing. They could have moved us to another room, but we were exhausted after a long day of travel and too tired to do so when the noise started.

Everything was clean and well lit, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool was well lit, staffed, and great for kids, and the attached restaurant was convenient and served good food.

The room was big and clean. The location is right off the freeway. The building looks older from the outside but has been nicely updated, and there’s a nice restaurant on site. The rooms are very spread out, so you have a long walk to the lobby and restaurant.

“Great place for a 1 night stay.”

My family liked the location of this hotel, and my kids also enjoyed the water slides at the pool. The beds were uncomfortable, and the layout of the hotel was also very confusing.
