A small hotel with very friendly staff. We especially liked the free bikes—possibly even with a child seat—and used them several times. The rooms are pleasantly large and bright. At the end of August there were a few mosquitoes.

The hotel was clean overall and the breakfast was good, which I appreciate, but the experience with the owner’s daughter severely affected my stay. I learned about an important online interview for a competition while already in the hotel, a sudden need I couldn’t plan for. I explained that I required a quiet, private space to take the test and that I wouldn’t be able to return home in time. The usual check‑out was 10:00, but I was allowed to stay until 12:00, which I acknowledge. To avoid moving during the test, I asked to stay until 13:00—an extra hour beyond the extension granted. This request was denied because the room was booked for the next guest. I repeatedly sought alternatives: another room, even a non‑bedroom space, or a small area to connect in peace. I would have accepted a service area; I just needed uninterrupted time without other people present. I also asked to use the breakfast room afterward, but they said they couldn’t guarantee even ten minutes free of passing guests or noise. That didn’t solve my problem, as other people could jeopardize the test’s integrity. I even offered to clean the room myself for more flexibility, but the situation remained unresolved.

Every staff member was extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was lovely, the room was clean, spacious, and airy. The free bikes were brilliant, and we used them to explore the area.
