All the necessary facilities for a guest house are provided, the place is new and generally clean, and shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are available. Toothbrushes, razors, cotton, and cotton swabs are not supplied, so bring your own. It’s a bit far from the center of Furukawa, but not an impossible walk. There are a few bicycles that can be used with free Japanese language at the inn. Parking seems limited, so check beforehand.

I stayed during a busy typhoon‑prepared period; the staff were not on site, but they answered my questions quickly over the phone, which was very helpful. It’s a bit far from the center of Furukawa, so walking with large luggage is tiring; knowing how to use ride‑share or community bus before arrival would be useful.

I liked the spot and the free parking, but there were no western sheets—just a blanket‑fabric sheet that didn’t have a cover, so it felt like the bedding wasn’t washed at all, though I’m sure it is. The room was otherwise clean, and the pillow was made of a weird beanbag material wrapped in a towel‑like case.
