We were really looking forward to a comfortable stay, but what we got was a room that felt like a furniture showroom. There was no staff to be found, and the whole place had an unkempt feel to it. To top it off, the price we paid was way too high for what we got, and we had no idea how to get hot water in the shower.

The location of this place is decent, but the rest of the experience was pretty disappointing. The room was partly dirty and worn out, and we had to pay cash upfront, with no receipt or staff to speak of. It felt like we were just leaving our money on the table when we checked out.

The host of this guesthouse was super responsive and friendly, and the location was perfect for the fireworks festival. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a three-in-one oven, microwave, and grill. They even left a set of replacement toiletries outside our door, which was a nice touch. However, be warned that the ocean view is a total scam - no matter how you look at it, you won't see the ocean.

The spacious room was a big plus, and the interior design was lovely. The bathroom and shower were spotless, making it easy to relax. The location was perfect for a family beach vacation, and the nearby Marin Spa Atami was a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made a big difference. My kids loved it, and we'd definitely stay here again. One thing that would be nice is if the corridors and stairs were a bit brighter.
