I used it. The air is thin, everything costs extra, and I had trouble charging my phone—plug sockets are buried under the floor and I can’t find them.

Clean, quiet, and peaceful. The website said breakfast would cost €10 per person, but we were charged €13 each.

Coming from the city to this place really puts everything in perspective—it’s incredibly relaxing and beautiful. What we liked most was how welcoming the host family was, plus their cute dog. You can grill, use the kitchen, and roam freely because these people don’t expect anything bad from anyone. Truly a beautiful place to disconnect. If you read comments about the water, the odor is no different from what you can find in Iceland, and nobody will doubt its quality. Don’t let that deter you from staying here. Highly recommend.

Trangail housing offers a different hotel experience. The garden and the dog were beautiful. For bikers it is a long way from places to get dinner or shop groceries.
