The front desk and housekeeping were helpful and nice, and the spot was great—just a stone’s throw from the subway and within walking distance of many spots. The lobby smelled strongly of curry from the attached Indian restaurant, which was unpleasant every time I entered. The room I got was near the elevator, so hallway noise woke me up repeatedly; the walls were thin and I could hear everything loud and clear. The room itself needed a lot of renovation and had a weird, unidentifiable odor, plus the fridge made banging noises every few minutes, keeping me from sleeping properly.

The ground‑level Indian restaurant was clean enough and the room was large, but the bathroom was small. The spot was fine, though the street rumor reaches even the top floors.
