The location is ideal – just about 5–7 minutes on foot from Thiranagama beach, set in a quiet green setting. At first I was a bit uneasy because the accommodation is on the private property of the host family, but their warmth and care exceeded all expectations – such hospitality is rarely seen in Asia. The garden is beautiful and well kept, giving a genuine taste of Sri Lankan hospitality. Unfortunately, our trip was already planned in advance, otherwise we would have stayed longer.
