“sehr ruhige Gegend mit guter Luft”

The room was big enough, with a desk and a comfy bed, and the area was super quiet. Breakfast was varied and I was satisfied with the good black tea. The indoor pool was large and warm, but I didn’t use it. The staff were friendly, matching the surroundings, and the Wi‑Fi worked great. However, my room was very noisy because of a water pipe, which woke me several times at night even though I had asked for a quiet room. The small sauna costs an extra 8 €, which I didn’t use.

The room was fine. On the first day, breakfast was great; on the second day, the staff at breakfast were unfortunately poor.

“positiv überrascht!”

We were returning from the Baltic Sea and stopped over, so we could directly compare the half‑board here with a 4‑star hotel. The conclusion: the food at Tannengrund is much better and more varied. The only downside was the missing elevator, which feels like a minor complaint at a high level. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

No positives. Some staff seemed annoyed. The bathroom was occupied by an Aquagruppe without any notice.

The location is very quiet and surrounded by nature. The overall cleanliness, especially the old bathroom that looks like it’s from the 80s, the dusty radiator, and hair in the sink were disappointing. The towel basket and toilet brush had stories to tell. The hotel and the room were in a worn‑out state and lacked freshness. We paid extra in the evening, told the staff we were leaving early and wouldn’t have breakfast, but still had to pay the full price. What a shame! Value for money is a non‑starter.
