“Fijn hotel”

The staff were friendly and the hotel looked nice, with a very pretty breakfast hall; some parts feel a bit dated but everything else is clean and good. Breakfast was fine and the rooms were spacious. It’s not far from the A3 motorway, which makes it a good spot for a quick shop or meal after arrival. The hotel sits on a busy road, so the rooms on the street side can be a little noisy. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed even though it was supposed to be open.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was sufficient with a good selection. The room was on the top floor and the hardwood floors squeaked a lot, especially at night. The nightstand was scratched and the chair was partially damaged—probably chewed by a dog. A tile in the bathroom was broken, and the shower silicone was already blackened or partially moldy. We had stayed there last year on a lower floor, which left a better overall impression. Because the hotel is on a main road, it was a bit loud at night. Still, it was an acceptable overnight stop.

Very clean. I had imagined a wider selection of sausages since there’s a butcher shop next door.

The hotel is conveniently located for a stopover on the way to or from Croatia. Neither the dining area nor the beer garden is offered, and the photos and descriptions misrepresent what’s actually there.

Parking access is straightforward and you can always find a spot; there’s a lot right next to the hotel. The hotel isn’t far from the city center, where you can find good restaurants. The staff were very friendly and ready to help. The building is a bit older, so every move makes noise, and the beds are noisy when you shift. The bathroom is a little small. I was assigned a room on the far side of the hotel, not on the street side, which made it quiet enough to rest.
