The staff were very welcoming, the room was lovely, and the food—both breakfast and dinner—was amazing. I didn’t encounter any problems.

There’s a large car park and the room was comfortable, plus the breakfast was well cooked. However, the road outside is noisy, and the site isn’t the cozy gastro pub advertised on the website. The dining room is large and quite loud. Dinner was decent—though the guinea fowl was tough and the cod overcooked—but it was adequate, and the gravy was good.

The bedroom and bathrooms were spacious. Breakfast was lovely, but I wasn’t a fan of the sausages and bacon offered.

The hotel is dog friendly, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We chose this spot because it was a convenient stop on our journey. The exterior of the property looks very tired and needs updating.
