I never even left the Uber because the area felt unsafe; several windows had pillows folded in half as makeshift supports and a person was sprawled on a mattress right at the door. The surroundings were sketchy, with drug users and multiple homeless people roaming around. The neighborhood felt shady, and I couldn’t leave the Uber. I asked for a refund because I’d paid an insurance fee for reimbursement, even though the payment was required online upfront.
