With its Paris location we felt the hotel offered good value – a decent double with an ensuite and an elevator – and breakfast was tasty, especially the baguettes, which we didn’t realize was included, so that was a nice surprise; the spot is handy, close to a laundrette and several good restaurants, though evenings were a bit noisy, which is understandable.

The room was very basic but I slept well; if you get a discount the price for Paris is acceptable, otherwise it would be too expensive, and breakfast was very limited.

The spot was good, but the room’s air conditioning couldn’t be turned off, leaving it uncomfortably cold and hard to sleep in; breakfast was a major letdown, with almost no healthy or savory items—just pastries, sweet baked goods, and sugar—and I felt unsafe the whole time.
