Just off the Sattledt exit of the A1 motorway and 500 metres from the Voralpenkreuz motorway junction, the AMEDIA Express Sattledt offers free WiFi in public areas. Wels is 11 km away. The bright rooms at the Amedia Express feature satellite TV and a private bathroom. A traditional restaurant is only 100 metres away. Kremsmünster Abbey is 6 km away, and it is 37 km to the centre of Linz. The lakes of the Salzkammergut can be reached in a 30-minute drive.

The location near the highway was good, but checking in only online was annoying; there was no helpful staff on site. We were assigned room 111, which had gel in the room, an outdated shower, a nasty smell from the toilet, no ventilation, no gel grid, street noise, creaky beds, and I will never stay there again.

We had to wait 2 hours because the Wi‑Fi wasn’t working and we couldn’t enter the room without Wi‑Fi, so there was nothing positive.

The hotel is a sensible choice for road travelers, offering free outdoor parking and everything is handled by machines. Overall, the value for money was good for a single night. However, the furnishings were old and the bathroom was cramped; the cleaning wasn’t terrible but could have been better.
