I was told everything was fine, but the staff seemed a bit shady. The receptionist, who introduced himself as Prosenjit, asked me to scan a QR code and then, after I entered my number and paid, he said his bank account was closed and that I’d have to pay again. He immediately transferred the money to Sayam Mazumdar’s account, and after a lot of back‑and‑forth I ended up paying an extra 600 rupees, even though the mistake was his. Don’t fall for this scam; the hotel is a total waste and the staff are useless.
